[Method] Great For Noobs, Almost Impossible To Not Earn With

Ebay limits the sale of intangible items, what categories are you specifically targeting?

Many thanks for the method Kori. I do have a question, though. I really don't use eBay at all, and I don't know what you mean when you say you found a service you can sell that has little to no competition. What is "little" competition for eBay? And even if it does have low comp., how do you know if it's even searched for on a regular basis? Just for fun, I tried a keyword that I know is something that is sold on Fiverr, and put the keyword in eBay. 77 other offers. Is this considered low? Thanks again for this stupidly simple method. :)

I would say 77 is low competition. What I sold had a competition of around 100-200, but because I always left mine up to bid my listing sold and theirs didnt. Plus I offered money-back guarantee and tried to offer a time frame where they would get what they purchased.

Well if I gave that out then ebay would be flooded with those kind of offers. Ebay only unlisted ONE of my listings for that reason. So, at least in my experience, it doesn't seem like they are too overly worried about it. Plus there are hundreds of people doing the same thing at any given time. So, there is a chance you will be unlisted, but that didnt happen to me until my 5th listing. And then I listed a 6th and 7th listing and they didnt take them down. No limitations or anything happened either.

Hi Kori93

I understand that you don't want to give out your exact GIGs that you are reselling on eBay. But can you give indication of type of gigs. What I mean by this is that are these gigs related to SEO/Web Design type gigs ( backlink, YT views, account creations on Web 2.0, FB likes, FB Timelines) or something non web/seo related stuff. You know what I mean (some one going to sing you happybirthday or write your name on bo*bs etc)

Thanks

I would highly recommend you go to a seller who is more trusted. I got really F*cked over when a seller decided to cancel his gig before doing what I ordered. Lost out on quite a chunk of money. That is why I stopped because I made some money to start investing in other things. It is not the most reliable, but it works to start out with at the least.

Yes, you are completely right .... One method to overcome this would be to buy the gig myself before listing on eBay. Then I have the gig in my possession and if the auction ends I can immediately give it out. Problem is, if it does not sell or lower than $5, then I lost money. However, the gig I want to resell definitely will sell for far higher than $5 .....
Only downside is, now I checked why the fiverr sellers needs 3 days to fulfill the order .... he offers "express service" for $10 (1 day) ....

Just made my first eBay listing ever, using this method. Hoping it works!

That is why I mentioned putting a time frame where the buyer will receive their order. That way after they give the information they know it will not be immediate and that it does take time

I hope it works for you! Nothing else has worked for me so this was a great method for me to start out with. Still working to get something else working though haha

hmm very interesting thread ill have to definetely try this..but seems like you'd have to nail a good niche for it??
A lot of things you would resell on fiverr are hit and miss. For example, it would be neat to get that video of that persons pet writing out a small message with lettuce/cabbage. But, would that really sell on ebay?

I don't really think it requires a good niche. Just something that people will feel benefits them, something that people actually want. So just avoid the ones that are more interesting than useful and you would probably do well. Just my opinion of course.

buddy, why dont you use buy it now?

I don't use buy it now because people who are going in to get what you sell will wait for it.
Now, I know you are saying that would remove the risk from it. Looking at the cons, you also get less interest. People feel as though, when they are bidding, they are getting a better deal and paying as minimal as possible. At the same time, other people feel the same way so they too bid on it. That is how it works. And if you put a buy it now option in as well as the auction option, people will feel they are saving however much less they are paying than the buy it now price.

Did this. Can guarantee this works. I was both fiverr seller and ebay seller. Use to sell 10 times more than fiverr.

sadly it was an indian Ebay account couldn't do much sales overseas. But still good method for people who didn't have much success online.

Repped for this Awesome Share

Pretty simple method. Hopefully someone will try this soon and share their experience (y)

That's a "second stage rocket booster" aspect to this method that makes it worth it not just for the mark up from eBay, but to drum up sales for your own gigs that actually pays you more appropriately for the effort you put in. The more cautious can test the tactic by starting a gig, promote it primarily through auctions, to see it work where they have 100% control over delivery, then progress to using third party gigs.

I used to resell some fiverr gigs to people. It can be a good source of extra cash.

I made $0me $ reselling fiver gigs. Bundle it up u will get more sales. Good luck every one. Remember ebay is not the only place to sell,

This is very interesting. I did a little research on eBay and it seems that a lot of people are selling these type of gigs for well over the $5 mark. I will give it a go. Thanks!

nice idea...
but too much work for not a lot of income...

Thats why it is starter money... To get you on to bigger and better things. Only issue is finding what those bigger and better things are...

Though it's not a new method, it still works pretty well. Cheers.
