If people are having problems getting traffic to your blog, one thing you can do is create some accounts specifically for forum use, and "leak" your password out. Just make sure that your content is worth seeing. Once you start seeing results, change the password. Then be sure to go back to the forum under another account and "inform" everyone that the password has been changed, but that you went through the process anyway and it was simple, cost you nothing, and was well worth it.
