First real post here on BHW so though I should start by offering something.
This method is incredibly effect but not particularly easy or quick but once you build your list it’s an almost on demand supply or Amazon reviews.
I don’t think there is anyone who could argue against the importance of Amazon reviews they boost credibility increase positive social proof and there is evidence that they help with rankings.
Yet getting natural reviews is next to impossible and incredibly slow.
Paid for services are a gamble they often don’t stick, provide worthless views and can upset the big A’s algorithm
Using this method the two books I recently released have over 100 reviews in under 2 weeks.
There’s no reason to not have more I want to keep my reviews in line with the normal amount of reviews in the categories.
Not just that but because we are dealing with real people with a real interest in our product you get the advance of triggering the ‘also bought’ algorithm.
So what’s the method?
well it’s quite simple using a variety of social media sites and other websites I advertise for niche related mystery shoppers.
So for example Prepper Mystery Shoppers Wanted.
a sales pitch offering them the chance to try products for free that they are already interested in follows.
From the advert they are taken to a marketing firm website where they see if they are eligible to be a mystery shopper. This helps to add credibility.
A quick survey later about products they already have and they are on the list and invited to take part in their first mystery shop.
The process is then quite simple
An email is sent asking if they would be interested in reviewing product x. In exchange for their mystery shop they will be reimbursed with between $1 and $50 (depending on the product)
If they are interested then they buy the product from the big A.
Wait for it to be delivered. Complete a few tasks for us and finally write a review on the big A.
As proof they have completed the mystery shop they need to send the receipt and link to the review on the Big A to us.
After a set period of time we reimburse the money and pay a fee (between $1 and $50).
that’s it really. Spend time collecting mystery shoppers and grow a targeted list.
couple of other little things
For KDP books I run a countdown deal and drop the price. This means there is less to pay out and I still get a decent commission from Amazon. I also run other promotions around the same time ie book bub.
All links I send out to mystery shoppers are affiliate links so if they buy other stuff well that’s just dandy.
