Actually I discovered this randomly and by following basic selling techniques. You see that many BST here on BHW offer free samples, and this is quite useful to make more sales, right?

So, if Fiverr doesn't allow us to do that, let's make this work in another way.

The trick I used to get a decent amount of views and even 4 sales (WITHOUT buying reviews or promoting my Gig ANYWHERE) was just to use as main image a text saying "FREE TRIAL".

So, you basically have your main image with whatever you want + (in the same image obv) a big text saying "free samples" or "free trial" or everything you think it's better.

Here's my results (image and title censored for promotional reasons). Just remember to NOT write "free samples" or "free trial" in the Gig title, because this might be against the TOS and even not seo-friendly

And are you actually giving anything free or it's just for misleading them?

I have a concern. You might be on the 20th page, then?

It doesn't improve your ranking at the beginning, but it works because people don't stop at the first gig or page. They try to search for something even cheaper and when they actually read "free sample", bam, you get the click (even a click improves the ranking). Your aim here is always to target low competition gigs, anyway. Btw I'm on page one for these gigs

I give them a free samples or trial for real, otherwise, they're not likely to buy

If you mislead the buyers, you'll end up with negative feedbacks, which is pretty counter-productive.

You're right, for this reason, I always give what I promised

But don't you think, most people there are just for exploitation and freebie seekers? Do they actually buy after free getting free samples?

14 click and 4 sales is 28.5% conversion rate, for me and for being like a 15 days gig, without buying any reviews, is quite good

That's good to see. Will definitely try this and get back to you, thanks!

One more thing - did you also change your gig description and mentioned there that you are giving freebies or only image?

If only image then the buyer would come to your inbox automatically asking about your freebie???

No problem =) =)

Yes, I wrote that in a line of text in the description too, it helps to reinforce the fact that you're giving off a free sample

It's a nice method because the more orders you get, the closer you'll get to page 1.

You are selling it any wanted price or the minimum $5?

hi @Tenebra23. nice method. but my question is, how you refund their money, as we know buyer need money to order your gigs?

Do you mean for the sample? Sorry for not mentioning It, right:

Usually the buyer do not buy the sample, he basically text you asking for it. You just send him the files without him buying it, that's why it's a sample, so there is not the refund problem.

You might also get him to buy the gig and then refund him (PayPal maybe) but this is not the real target of this method, I don't really think this refund process is worth, even because the buyer won't "risk" his money
