Okay guys/gals, im in very good mood so I will share my method of getting free unique content (mostly food recepies including pictures) which is the best monetized with Pinterest ( I guess).

This might be shared here already but I have made a few twists.

IMPORTANT: This method is still very blackhat and includes copying content, but from a diffrent, less known/used sources.
This is only for educational purposes (yeah..) and I can not be held responsible for your actions!

Enough BS, the method involves ripping books, there is no friggin way your mother or grandmother doesnt have one!
You will need:
1. MS Paint
2. Notepad
3. Cookbooks (physical/real) .
4. A decent camera/scanner
5. Abby screenshot reader (availible in kickass torrents)
6. A lot of free time
7. Good english is a must!

So you already guess what the steps are, but I will list them anyway.

1. First get your cookbook open to the page you would like ti rip.
2. Take a shot/scan the page.
3. Connect to your pc, copy the image in a folder (Make everything in categorized folders to keep it clean an tidy for ex. recipes/soups/recipe1/...) Keep every scan/photo in different folder otherwise it will become quite a mess. Trust me!
4. Open the image and scan it with Abby. If you still dont know what this software is about, it reads the text from the picture and copies it to your clipboard.
5. Open a new text file in the same folder and paste what Abby readed from the picture. Depending on your photo/scan you might need to edit it a little bit, but it does its thing quite good.
6. Right click on the riped photo->edit with paint.
7. Cut the image (recepie image) -> new image -> paste -> save in the same folder.

Now you should have: ripped photo, recipe photo, txt with the recipe
8. Rinse and repeat!

Improving speed tips:
1. First scan the whole book or the category (soups for ex.)
2. Connect to pc and sort the images in different folders like I mentioned above.
3. If you need to rotate multiple ripped images (abby can't read rotated images) choose the images that needs to be rotated (ctrl + left mouse click) -> right click -> rotate clockwise or counterclockwise. This way is way faster than rotating each image separately.
4. In paint and notepad use short keys like alt+f4, ctrl+s. This may sound dumb, but when you are ripping 300 page book its saving you significant amount of time.

Other tips:
Using scanner is way better (image quality is way better and resolution is higher). For example I am using my media-tech portable scanner . You can't tell that the images from my site are from a sheet of paper !

You are not tied to use only cookbooks, there are women cosmetics, gardening magazines, etc etc.

I live in Bulgaria and I scan bulgarian books and then translate them and edit them. What Im trying to say is if you scan english books there is a chance that the content isnt original.. you can always check the content with free online tools. Other non-english bhw-ers shouldn't have problem with uniqueness, I guess.

Well I think I writed most of it. The thread became quite long and it took me about an hour. I could have missed something.
If there is something you cant understad post below and I will try to help you.

Sorry if my english is not perfect.

Regards and have a nice ripping :)

For those with short attention span: Take cookbook, scan, run text recognition software (abby), enjoy unique content.

Thanks for share!

Well I could have written it in 3 lines but I experianced many slow practices so I have listed some tips

This methods does works for free content but one should use the content wisely otherwise legal problems may arise in future.

Go to Bulgarian website, translate to English, job done, no fucking around.
Eh, the text content can be easly spun but unique pictures are hardly found that are related to the text..

Problem : 100 people copying the same book = duplicate content .

Whats the chances of you and another bhw member live in one country, speak one language and buy the same book,
And what are the chances of downloading an article scraper listed in the freebies and scrape "recepies" articles....
Besides my method involves copying related pictures which is nice :)

too much work !

translated content works better.

still thanks for thread.

The advantage of this method is like I said: you will get unique content with related pictures that no one will complain about. Im using this content with adsense and with Pinterest with no problems at all. This was the hidden message in the thread. I guess no one understand that.. oh well

Интересен Метод Тодоре :) Как са нещата в България ... Чистят ли снега :)

Thank you for this method ... I use to do it back in the days when i was in Bulgaria :)

If you would have explained it in three lines, then you would have had a bunch of noobs constantly asking you a bunch of questions about your exact method, and you probably would have had to spell it all out anyways.

Thanks for the thread.

Great share and thanks for your effort on explaining step by step dude.

Thanks guys I know this will come in handy to someone.

Meh everything is a mess - like always :D / Като всеки път - зимата ни изненада :D

Basically, you can get free content simply by taking a text found on the net and using google translate - you might want to edit it, but if you don't use it for your first tier or money site, then you can use it like that as well. Ideally you want to know the language, but if you don't, then there's no biggie - specially for third tier :)

Why don't you directly translate the text from the book? As for images, you can easily find free stock pictures that could work with any type of content.
