You need a gmail account to create this backlink. It is a Nofollow backlink with DA 99 and PA >50. It is also easy to index. Follow the steps to create backlink.

- Login to your gmail account
- Open https://www.blogger.com/edit-profile.g
- Under General > Homepage URL, enter your website address
- Save and visit your updated profile, it will be like https://www.blogger.com/profile/***********

You can create one backlink for each gmail account.

What we're going to do to get the search engines to see this is actually better :)

Tried it will it automatically index
I don't think if it automatically get indexed as it is an independent page. Comment on other (active) blogs to get it indexed or make backlinks to it.

Can you give the sample a few blog names?

These links have no value at all, you think Google doesn't know this is just a profile page.

I often wonder if profile links could actually cause negative movement if Google is using machine learning. I mean, how many whitehat websites will have loads of profile links pointing at them? Pretty easy signal for ML to pick up..

Thanks for the share anyway OP. Maybe they can be used well on a small scale for diversity.

All of them come under foundation links and work very well for new sites. In fact, you need a combination of ********, nofollow and brand mentions (no backlink at all but just your brand name within a post) to appear like a authority. I have a blog which ranked on first page for a few low-comp kws solely with Directories, Profile links and Social media links. So, I believe that they still work.

`Found a large number of such profile link methods coming up in BHW:rolleyes:

I might do an experiment and rank a low competition inner page with just profile links and see what happens :-)

If you click on the link, it will open a form with multiple fields.

Find "Homepage URL" and write your URL there.
Click on save settings button.
A notification at top give you option to view updated profile.

yep, I had a weird penalty (?) once. Had all profile links and web 2.0s, basically "packages" removed. Keywords ranking for a total of 80k search terms came back

Thanks for sharing, I found this technique on a blog few days ago, I'm gonna build one for my site.

I doesn't give DA 99 you have work on new blog to raise it's metrics.
