Mjelloooooooo

This is mainly for us who create our own products/services. But can also be used when addressing a new niche.
Sometimes we work a lot on a project/niche. Sometimes we work too long on a project/niche and don't get what we want in return.
It has happened to all of us.

Here is what you need to do BEFORE starting on something new - every time (if you ask me).

1. Validate product/market fit
2. Build it and get paid or move to the next project/niche

To validate a product/market fit I usually create a VERY simple landing-page with a simple text describing what you are trying to sell and a name/email sign-up.
Remember to include the Unique selling points for your product.

Then I create a PPC campaign selling the product and include the price for the service (to avoid people who only want free stuff).
I usually target VERY broadly to get some instant feedback.

One or two things can happen.
A lot of signups in a short time = product/market fit. Now go build the project and mail them once you are done.
Only a few signups = try changing the landing-page and PPC campaign text. if it still does not work. Terminate the idea and move on.

By doing this we can validate the people really WANT to buy what we are going to sell (at the price suggested) and we know for sure that there is a market. BINGO!
This is super great as we don't need to spend a lot of time on a project nearly no one is ever going to buy. Validate VERY fast.

Only YOU can decide what a few is. But I usually target something where I can get up to $1000 a day within a week of work.

I hope this helps a bit.

isnt a week a short periode to validate the project if we include the testing?

Depends on how hard you hit the PPC of cause. I usually hit it pretty hard to get the results FAST!

Thank you SEO20...

I wish I could already be in your level right now...

I've been in the industry for quite awhile already but keeps on switching from doing personal affiliate marketing campaigns to working with an employer...

I just can't get it through doing personal affiliate online marketing...

Hope I crack things about online marketing real soon

Why don't you try this method with one of your own (or create a JV with someone who can create a product/service) once you have validated the product/market fit?

Great guidelines SEO20. I'm sure many people would be comfortable even using lower figures than the $1000, but the real value here is in helping people see how easy it can be to test to see if there is really a tapable market, and if it is worth the time and energy to effectively develop a new product/service.

planning to start Amazon to diverse the day job. Thus it bring me something new

I had a successful buddy recommend this method to me once upon a time. It's one of the most appealing ideas to me to date.

What would you say one should be spending in PPC for these tests?

What you shoul spend on PPC?
Just until you have the results to either terminate or build.

You can't go wrong building an MVP. It'll save you both time and money.

Yes you can. This is BEFORE mvp. Validate your market first THEN build.

I guess I was asking about how much money and how big of a sample size is wise generally? Or is there not a *general* amount?

P.s. Has anyone found a more in-depth guide about this particular concept?
