I haven't seen this method posted here before. It's probably since it's a bit of a long play and requires you to have niche knowledge. We may be able to improve on this method too.
1. Go to r/ama and learn about what ask me anything is if you don't already know. People post something like "I was shot in the back 10 times and lived AMA" and people will rush to answer.
2. Start a niche relevant AMA. If it's real that's great since it will be easier. If there is no interesting niche relevant AMA you can do you need to make one up. The hard part then will be answering their questions.
3. It's vital you answer the questions you are asked. You want as many people to post as possible asking you questions and you want to answer all of them. If you pick something you know nothing about you will need to google it. You may be able to find an AMA thread somewhere else and then use that person's real experiences in your answers. It may be difficult to convince people you're a professional tennis player if you know nothing about tennis. If you want to say you are a pornstar, for example, you need to research how the porn industry actually operates (for example, did you know models have to pay for their own STI tests and are only valid for two weeks and most shoots require the model to pay for their own tickets? This means models starting out may only get paid like 300 bucks for a whole porn shoot!). If you are pretending to be a pornstar and you didn't know that you won't be convincing and people will call you out.
4. By now you should have a great AMA with many answered questions and everyone believes you. Now you can wait until all the questions die down or it's ok if you wait until it's archived too. Once this happens start editing your posts to include your offer/links to your niche. You can even do this after your AMA has been archived. Now you have just turned your AMA into an advertisement. You could link to your money site, to an affiliate site, youtube video, whatever. If you wait until after it's archived before you edit then no one can call you out on it either.
Anyone tried something like this? Any way to improve on the method by saying using a different type of post (possibly even in a niche sub reddit?). Let me know!
