Thanks for the share. The main problem i see is whether these will get indexed. I just checked the example URL above (with yoursite.com) and it doesn't appear to be indexed. They should be indexed by now, considering they are linked out in this page and some one has also ripped them and posted them on warrior. If it remains unidexed then its pretty much useless.

You honestly believe that a single reference from a thread on BHW will get something indexed in a day?

Since some think these are of value, below are the ones I hit with 100 bookmarks a while back (some URLs may not be valid anymore). Like I said, they did nothing for my ranks nor were they indexed with 100+ bookmarks each. Use at your own risk. 
Note that some had our links in a frame at the top of the page where it said "remove frame."
You can easily scrape many of these using scrapebox footprints:

redirect.asp?url=http://I didn't say a single reference on BHW, i pointed out that it is listed on WF (and now i see other places) too. Both of these forums are highly spidered and the links should be indexed by now. Also bear in mind that when you search for the whole link in G00gle, there are a few places listing the exact links that are already indexed. That suggests that the spiders should have picked the .gov links up to by now.

As long as there are indexed this kind of backlinks it wouldn't hurt to use them

I checked robots.txt on a few sites, and there is no reason why the redirect.aspx shouldnt get indexed
Even try googling this:
inurl:redirect.aspx gov
you'll see that there are quite a lot links like:
