Facing same problem. Some methods I figured out are list promotion, listing on website and doing cross promo. Also optimizing channel for global search.

Do you know the TexApi software, it's a paid software, i think $30/year. It's only for Windows PC, and you can literally scrap the users from a group to yours, in 2 clicks + some time.
