[METHOD] FB Messenger Autoresponder + Riddle (PPE Ads)

Always split test. never give up too early or when there is no data to compare.

Btw do you target specific cities or whole country? After contacting fb ad support they told me, I am targeting whole country so my targeting is not good.

It depends, on learning phase, i usually go much broader, including targeting whole countries.

On matured campaign yes i use cities, and more than that, depends on the product i might use FREE SHIPPING, or Next Day Delivery + City Name!

this is very good for CTR if you have reliable logistics in that area.

"Free Shipping To Manchester" module is also good, its just easier to see trough, rather than "Next Day Delivery To Manchester" - which is a killer for CTR.

Regardless you should target cities for more accurate split testing.

I Used the fb chat method with their marketplace. I listed something for unusually cheap, I got tons of people wanting to buy it, then my chatbot replied to say it's not available anymore and send them an affiliate link to buy it from Amazon.

It was profitable when fb was not banning accounts like they do now.
It's a pain now because when people flag the ad fb remove the marketplace feature from your account or bans you, and it's not easy to get fb accounts with marketplace activated

Well that's pure spam, this is not messenger material with all the respect.

They won't let you ABUSE their platform, but you still can TAKE ADVANTAGE of it, because this new type of "Spam" will not be blocked easily, specially if you don't get greedy like with the method you mention.

And don't get me wrong, i don't judge you or anything for you method. just won't work with messenger as of, like 2 years ago.

No prob I know my method was spam. It was great the time it lasted.

Thanks for the idea of using riddles!

The last 2 months I've been studying messenger marketing as much as possible and also read some books on copywriting and e-mail marketing.
I'm currently working on a little 3-5 day giveaway sequence where on day 3 the winner will be announced and everyone will get a 48h valid code for 50% off + free shipping for the same product being given away. The first 3 days I will give them a lot of value and indoctrinate them a bit on my product and brand. Once's they received the discount I will send them a few reminders while trying to sell them using the Gain/Logic/Fear principle.

It really sucks that they changed the rules and now building a list is pretty much useless, but I think messenger is still so incredibly valuable in carrying your customer from cold to hot instead of just using facebook ads to a landings page or whatever.

Are there other questions / growth tools you found success with other than riddles? I've been wanting to test out a quiz.
Also which type of products do you find sell best? Currently the product my brand makes doesn't solve a problem and is more of a cool thing to have.

Hmmm, I will use this method to put my 140k page (I hardly use it) in some action, who knows, maybe it turns out profitable! :)

Quizes are great, and product which is just cool to have, is also great for IG, i think the best product type is one the influencer can try and report the change to hes following, like a treatment.

Or something fashionable, that just looks very good on them. but basically any product can go with the right influencer.

Good luck, sounds like an interesting test :)

Great method, OP! How do you get past FB's 20% ad rule with an ad image like that?

Great method!!! Thank you very much for sharing this brother!
