This is a quick and easy way to get more clients for any kind of business.
Let's assume you have an online marketing agency.
1. Post a job for a Social Media Manager (example)
2. Ask for past work - at least 5 facebook pages they managed in the past
3. Call those businesses and ask for references. BUT while you talking to them say that you are doing the same job and you can arrange a meeting in the future. Don't go hard on this, just tell them what you are doing.
The beauty of this method is that ussualy if they DON'T work on that project anymore, something went wrong. And at the same time you have a legit reason to call those businesses without selling anything.
I land 2-3 new clients every week with this method and I'm not even struggling too much. Feel free to add your own twist but I'm telling you, this is working!
