Yes, you can talk about anything. It needs to be a conversation though, so something that the student can also talk about is needed. It's just to practice their English. If in the process you can teach them not to use words like "basically", "Obviously", "Literally", "You know", when inappropriate, they'll be streets ahead of most teenage native speakers! Lol.

I used to work in a call centre. I can be a good fit for this type of work I reckon :rolleyes:
 
if you are good looking you will have advantages over other teachers.
also if you have a second language promote it, may courage the second language speakers choose you.
