[Method] - Cashing in on Reddit - Q&A method

Answer thread: Over 1000 upvotes, I removed this myself once the experiment was done as posting a link with a comment typically works best with an active account. I use the account for other personal projects.

Qualified Click-thrus to website: About 280, extremely low for what I'm used to but I was literally only doing this because not a single person in this thread has come back with any sort of results.

Clicks on link on website: A little over 30, that's typical when you start hyper-filtering your traffic for the kind of campaign I was running.

Qualified clicks with EPC (earnings per click): 14 for the campaign with an EPC of 33 cents.

That was with a recycled campaign and basically no further effort. This was also a hyper-filtered campaign where a user would have to - click on Reddit post, see comment, click on link in comment, click on link in content, be qualified, click through multi-page affiliate offer. You're losing close to an order of magnitude with every step. The HUGE traffic comes from posting a direct link to your website on Reddit, but this specific campaign wasn't built for that.

The nice thing is there are a couple of small tweaks I can make to the Reddit content and the website which will probably allow me to run this campaign on a more permanent basis. The site is already there, the site content is there, all I have to do is change things up a bit.

What I am seeing is whenever I put links for site.google, the comment doesn't show up when checked with another account. The count of comments updates on the post but the comment doesn't show up. The account used to comment was not shadowbanned or suspended for sure. Even when checked the profile through another account, there too comment doesn't show, just thread link to which comment was made shows.

So is it like, reddit does not allow free site links at all? Multiple small, large, variety of niche tried on reddit, same results. And account is active. Comments without these links are visible.

What I feel is, you should be lucky enough to get traction or need to spend some $ to upvote your own question to say 1k upvotes and then hope for it to get traction.
