A few subs won’t allow URLs at all, though they are few and far between. Moderators are arbitrary though, you can be following all of the rules in a sub and still get banned. You can also be blatantly marketing constantly and some sub mods just won’t care.

This looks good but I fall at the first fence because my Reddit accounts have no karma. My posts never appear. Can anyone suggest ways to build karma quickly? Any easy subreddits to post to where the mods are not strict?
