[Method] Blackhat ebay method

Blackhat in that we are making up stories of the items "magical" powers.

I was just trying to indicate that a market exists for this stuff.

If you guys are unhappy with this method, I'll ask the mods to delete this thread. Unless of course someone here has real magical powers and can genuinely sell these items with the stated magical qualities ;)

Oh scurrilous and power hungry ye are, oh unwise and unqueethed one.

Whilst I am sure there are probably more than a few dubious ways of making money in this fair olde land; your 'idea' is not only quite ludicrous, but also potentially life threatening.

What, (if I may), if some old mare buys one your products and in fact, believes your charm and the powers that you bestow onto it, and decides to slay a mystical dragon with nothing but a blunt sword and an old battered shield. (no body armour)

She'd be believing that she has an amulet which will bring her the luck of the gods, she may well pick a dragon that is 30 or so levels above her natural fighting level. Any and in which case, without support, she would quite terribly die, a crispy death indeed.

The old Grandma would not only die a horrible death, but she would leave a family legacy behind; orphans, untold tales of love, and most importantly, a vast wealth of untold riches, which would be coveted by adventurers alike.

Maybe this is your secret plot. Maybe it is not. Maybe you want her to die so that you can claim her wealth and royalties.

Moderators, I would watch this one, he is marked with the mark of the unjust one.

Ahahhaha, The_Cat_In_The_Hat added in part really make my day laughing so hard. Stop playing video games and stuff.

To the OP, i can see how you make up a story behind the items and going viral with that, it was like the really old old, has background and glorious... I usually hear sellers lie about their goods, but once again one need to concern about the ethical when trading.

What is wrong with you?? Dragons don't exist dummy... DEEERH (insert retarded smilie here)

I have a necklace blessed by Merlin and stored inside a dragon's balls for 379 years. Who wants to buy it?

Lol guys. I guess eBay should shut down it's "Collectibles > Religion & Spirituality > Wicca & Paganism > Amulets, Pendants & Charms" section then. Almost everything there is "magical".

what a noob

I may be new to the forum but I ain't no noob.

Sure it shouldn't.

But I wouldn't go trying to capitalise on their stupidity, one of them might turn you into a newt.

I would think that, as long as you stay away from "brings you health" backstory, that anything else is fair game.

"This charm is blessed and brings you good luck" simply is in the eye of the beholder. After all, luck is nothing more than proper positioning.

At the end of the day, though, I wouldn't consider this a huge money maker. But 100% markup is killer, whether it be $1 or $1000.

If you get good looking old shit for $1, getting $15 back for them in ebay with a good history might not be that difficult.
