I wanted to give something back to the community, so I'll keep this short:

The method is very simple, and if executed correctly is guaranteed to get you clients who need help with their email campaigns, for which you can charge them monthly.
Basically a lot of companies get this wrong - they can't land gmail inbox, instead they go into promotional tab, or worse - spam. This method capitalises on that. Email is not a primary traffic channel for many companies, and such tasks are often given to interns and juniors who will mess up more often than you'd expect, even with bigger brands.

What you do:

1. Open a new GMAIL account
2. Sign up with any commercial email newsletter you can find out there. The more - the better, you want to get a lot of incoming emails.
Apparel works well, pretty much any company that sends out promotional emails will work with this.
3. Wait some time to receive promotional emails.
4. Check out your promotions tab, and also spam folder. See who's doing bad and answer their emails, informing them they are landing in promotions tab, say that this is causing them views, yada yada, and that you can help them inbox every time.

What you need to know:
1. How to email and land at inbox in gmail.

How to make money with this:
1. Charge for email campaigns management. Inboxing gmail every time is time consuming, businesses will pay for this to be taken care of.
2. Consult them on how to land in inbox.
3. Swap their email software with the one of your choice (affiliate)
4. Offer upsells

Best of luck!

Neat idea. This is a zero cost method so plenty of people can take action and not make excuses.

Yes, can be outsourced too if not sure how to do it

How much do you usually charge for the campaign?

Depends on complexity and how much the company is willing to work with you, as some will try to push fully promotional content that harder to inbox. Some campaigns will need a tweak in the subject line, while others might take 1 hour for rewording.

where this info ???

It's worth a test but optin email lists usually land on inbox.

Sounds Interesting, I lost a job because i never recieved a email from the boss in my "inbox". I found it later on in another folder... I don't know if it was in the promotional or junk / spam folder.

Interesting.
I'm on my way learning about email marketing. So maybe if I get confident enough to get some client, I will do this.
Thank you!
