You're not caring about Google crawlers, the worst they will do is not rank you, which is not what our traffic is from. I see no need to re-write, that's totally undermining the point of the income stream.

i tried posting with a new account in a couple of groups but facebook blocked posts containing the website link, is that just cause i used a dot tk domain?

hey was having a bit of a problem with this method hoping i could get some advice. I added the attribution code to my website header, then pasted the feed code and the click tracking code on the page. The instructions say to place click tracking code "near" the feed code, I am not sure what this means so i pasted it under the feed code.

However all that shows up is a box not the job feed. People can search for jobs if they enter a search term and get redirected to my affliate link but the job stream doesn't show up. Anyone know how to fix this?

It could be a cool twist to throw some cheap PPC at it, setting the campaign as [your local town] job vacancies. You wouldn't need to make the site itself local. Then you could leave it on and run it on autopilot

Obviously that's wrong, where do you insert the code for the ad? I'm inserting it in the theme under Jobroller-Settings-Advertising?

Have you tried inserting it in the widget section? Appearance -> Widgets
I would assume you could paste your code into a Text widget on the sidebar

EDIT: Btw having another look at that, I guess that is an ad section for a leaderboard and you've inserted a skyscraper

Thanks, yeah that was it then. Is there anyway to make the widgets custom sizes, because when I put it in the available 250x250, now it's squashed like this

hmm in the script code it says width:250px;height:250px edit that to change dimensions of your ad.

Anyone using the API got the "apigetjobs" one to work? apisearch is working fine but even the sample indeed provides for getjobs doesn't seem to work. Wanted to generate individual job pages on the fly using jobkeys but without that second API it doesn't seem practical. I've emailed indeed about it but while waiting for a response I wonder if it's just something I'm doing wrong

Do you have to manually post the jobs to facebook or can this be automated?

Also, some people have said that FB might ban you, is there any other site you can use?

You could possibly grab the latest postings from your websites rss with imacros then automate the posting to a random groups url from a csv or text file. Noticed this week my pageviews were exactly the same with Indeed and they were taking pennys at random times from my earnings. Nothing ever is usually exactly the same kinda looks like they shave or just estimate.

I'm sure there are bot's already available to automate the whole project. The original idea of the method was to keep it easy to understand and easy to implement for newbies just starting out. If anyone has any suggestions of bots to use for this project that newbies would find easy to use then please share, it would be much appreciated.

I need to ask, did you use your personal account to post to Facebook groups? I used a new-ish fake account with no friends and it indeed got me blocked until July 20th after I join-requested 17 groups quickly. Just trying to work out the parameters here.

And yes, I think a bot or hiring a VA to do it remotely is the way to automate this.

I didn't use my personal account, I used a couple of facebook accounts that look real, they have around 100 friends in each and I mass joined and mass posted and never got banned.
