OP, please tell me something... I would assume you would have to mark the item as a gift so there is no receipt revealing the original price, or do you just send it anyway? Most customers are lazy right?

1. Will buyers get mad when they see an Amazon box or see the invoice?
I have never in two years and 1800+ feedbacks had a customer be mad about the box. Once or twice I have been asked if the item came from Amazon. Considering I have some common sense and a creative mind, I explained that I use the Amazon shipping service called "Fulfillment by Amazon". This is a real service, but it does not really work the way I am explaining, but hardly no one knows this so it works with customers. Keep in mind I have been asked this twice in two years.
Also, some of you seem to be living in the past. If you have ordered anything from Amazon in the past two years, you would know that almost no items come with invoices whether you select the "Gift" option or not. They stopped doing it to save paper. If you are worried, just select that item each time. Your buyer will never get an invoice.

So far I have dropshipped one item with a 100 dollar profit margin on the product. I went with a big ticket item. Thanks for this post, its really good and confirms that I'm onto something with what I've been testing. One question is how can I increase my selling limits on Ebay? I have 100 positive feedback and the only way I see is to call and discuss selling goals. I'm afraid to call though, I don't want to get banned from ebay...again.

Hard to say man, I got my limits raised before I even had the chance to call. I was selling and they automatically emailed me telling me my limits were increased.

Great post! I have been doing the same thing as yourself for almost a year now! Have had my ups and downs with a record of 6000$ in sales in one month! It was great! Recently though, very down. I had to cancel a bunch of orders(which I should have just bit the bullet and paid the ebay fee without cancelling). My selling limits were starting to get very high and I couldnt keep up with inventory. Literally the month of January people were order item after item and it was out of stock. Look around the net for other place and it was either nowhere to be found or expensive as crap! Meaning lose alot. I was mostly selling items that were above 100$! I canceled to many items to get my final fee back now ebay wont raise my limits for who knows how long and my sells are way down. I tried using priceyak to help keep up with inventory but there is no originality in my titles and descriptions as before and my views are way down. I change the titles and description after priceyak list my items, but I think its too late because the ebay bug instantly reads my item and probably says this is the same dumbass thing as this guy and that guy and down the line. How do you keep up with all your inventory? I mean after I was able to list over 300 items I just couldnt keep track anymore and things started going down the tubes! I guess I should have never went on a cancel frenzy and bit the bullet but I learned the hard way(as I always do) Your advice please!! Thank you!!

I keep around 100 items listed at one given time, so it takes less time but if I really wanted to I could manage 300+ listings. I have narrowed my products down over time to ones that sell well and don't ever run out of stock. One way to do this is to avoid seasonal items like toys for Christmas and popular name brand items. I also check stock before re-listing items.

I dont understand how you find popular products that sell all the time. I really dont seem to sell the same product over and over again. Maybe 5 percent of what I have listed sell a couple times, but then usually dries out. I get sales from different items that I keep listing as my list grows bigger, what Ive been taught I guess.

It didn't happen overnight. The active 100 items I have right now have been built up over the past year. I have listed easily 3,000+ items and just re-list the ones that sell out of that amount. Also, after you do this for over two years, you have a really good idea on what sells based on looking through eBay's sold items for the niche/product you are researching from Amazon. It only gets easier as you get more experience.

After seeing some competitors on ebay seem to be using this method, I noticed some of their listings have a general retail price shown for that item and then crossed out
and under is the price they are selling it for.
I'm curious if you know how they are doing this? I can't seem to find an option in the ebay listing tool that allows me to put a generic retail price as to show that my price is marked down in comparison...
for example :
Listing Price: 1̶9̶.̶9̶9̶
Your Price: 15.99
I feel like this is good for letting the customer know they are getting a deal, and would help sell. Any insight would be much appreciated

It is very helpful and it motivated me to try this method.I am noob with ebay and i have some problems also i am not from US and i am trying this method from Europe.Today i tried to list an item but i do not know what to choose in the shipping details.I guess i have to choose to calculate the fee depending on the location of the buyer?? Also what service should i use?? and what item location should i use??

I have a question for OP & anyone else doing this. Do you have both a personal Prime account & one that you use to dropship from? Or do you just have a the one for dropshipping? My personal Prime account is important to me & I don't want to screw it up. I'm just wondering if they ever connect the two since I would be using the same info. I know you said you could just create a new account & they don't care, but I wasn't sure if you could have two prime accounts at the same time.

You have a much higher success rate at new methods if you actually read the entire original post...
"Part 3 (Amazon Acct.): You can go two directions with this step. Many sellers elect to only list items that are above the $35 free shipping limit. With this step all you need is your average Amazon account. Although, you may choose to use an Amazon Prime account. If you choose to use an Amazon Prime account, you will ALWAYS end up losing your Prime benefits at some point for reselling activity. I advise that you use a different account if you have a personal one. BUT WAIT, PRIME ACCOUNTS COST MONEY RIGHT?! That doesn't matter. This is quite simple to deal with even though many of the people I see on BHW don't seem to see how easy this is. Not only that, but having a Prime account will help your sales DRAMATICALLY. (See step 6.5 to see why)
Make a new account and sign up for Prime with a 30 day free trial. Directly after this select that you do not want to pay for the 1 year of Amazon Prime after the 30 days are over. After each 30 days expire, repeat this step. I have never lost an Amazon Prime account within those 30 days, the only time I have lost Prime benefits is when I first started and used my own personal Prime account.
