[Method] Amazon to eBay Drop-shipping Done Right! Spoon Fed! *Long/Detailed*

HI lewy,

Out of that $19,581 you showed us in sales, how much of that did you end up keeping?

Also can you tell me some good CPA advertising techniques on how to make lots of money?

Also you talk about the US shipping label free, does Amazon send that Email?

And last question is this Method still as good as when you posted this thread if it's to saturated now or still holds the same potential as before?

thanks

This is a long post, so I don't really blame you for not reading. But if you get to page 1 to 10, you would see somewhere in this post that he makes about 2800 profit a month with only 150 listing. Most of the customers are the same, and yes this method is definitely saturated. However, amazon is adding 1000's of items each day, so there's still plenty of money to be made. I don't blame Lewy2k for not answering to some users because many questions are being repeated over and over.. I think some of you need to get to atleast page 6..

Has anybody figured out a solution for Copy pasting the address from Ebay into Amazon?

Ive looked everywhere for a autofiller that can fill in the address from the clipboard once i copy it. cant seem to find anything to speed up this tedious task.

I looked over the thread and I may have missed it, but when you buy do you make sure your items are fulfilled by Amazon directly or do you also source from independent amazon sellers who are selling through amazon and using FBA?

Hey Lewy, can you give us a ball park on how much more we should list specific items that we find in order to make a profit?
For example on a $40 item on amazon, what's the price to list it on EBay and make the $7 final cut?

I assume the equation is G = {(C + M) - [(C + M)*.15] - (C*T) - F - S} where G = the final $ Gain | C = Item Cost | M = How much your price Mark up is | .15 = total fees from EBay and PayPal
T = Tax % | F = EBay Insertion Fees | S = Shipping cost if you send the item to your house instead of use free shipping. *** If anything doesn't apply for certain people such as the shipping cost or insertion fees simply enter 0 for the value ***.

So with that equation we play around with M until G is at a comfortable amount? The only variable that might change I believe is the .15 which EBay + PayPal constantly changes. I recently sold an item for $4.99 and final fees came out to a whopping $0.94, PayPal took $0.44 when the buyer send the cash which left me with $4.55 then EBay is taking $0.50. For that transaction the fees was 0.94/4.99 = 18.8%
Shipping cost me $2.04 as well. . . ended up not making any money lol.

If the numbers seem correct I'm going to make a spreadsheet to plug in the C and M and automatically gives me the G. Calculating each item on its own with a calculator will eat up most of anyone's time with this method otherwise.

I use anyone that ships with the Prime 2-day shipping. I do about half and half.

Paypal and eBay both charge a specific percentage. I use a rough estimate in my head to make it near $7 minimum. Sometimes I do $10. I don't take the time to use an equation because like I stated in the OP I only spend 1 hour on this per day. I need the rest of my time for other IM projects and university.

You have the right idea, just make sure you are giving yourself a big enough margin to make money. That amount per item is up to you.

Your right I just checked and the specific % of both EBay fee and PayPal fee are that EBay will take 10% while PayPal is 2.9% + 0.30. So in the equation instead of using .15, plug in (.129 + 0.30). This should give exact numbers on gains.

Really having a hard time finding products that are like at least $10 more on Ebay vs Amazon. Also I noticed that as the price of item goes up you need to have a wide gap in price difference to make at least around $5-$7. So if item is in the $50 range it needs to marked up by $15, $75 range in the $20-$25 range and around $100 in the $30-$35 markup. Should we just move forward with some products even though the lowest person listing on ebay is not the price we won't it listed at? Any suggestions?

Do you also offer the same Amazon 30 day return policy on all your items in your listings on Ebay?

I did dropshipping and it can be lucrative. While researching you'll find lots of other websites you can implement for bigger and bigger profits. Walmart has been a BIG one for me and they just got better now because they FINALLY are offering similar shipping options to amazon. 35+ shipping free and free 2day shipping membership.

As you expand, expand your mind. Selling on Amazon as well, can offer BIG pay.

At one point I made around 2500 PROFIT off of A SINGLE item because I stumbled across a listing on amazon for it that WAS OUT OF STOCK. It had good reviews. I found the original seller of the item so I made my own listing on amazon for it at 3x the price. Sold 14 of them in a single week.

Haven't done dropshipping in a long time but this is making me want to get back in. There are SOO many ways to increase profits, and find alternative sellers outside of just amazon to ebay.

The guy who mentioned about selling multiple items as bundle.. I never thought of that one! That's golden!

So what do you do come tax season? Do you have to file every year and do you need to collect sales tax for people who are buying from your state? If you don't file will you get audited? Sorry if this has been asked already.
