[METHOD] Affiliate products (tangible) on Ebay

Hi.

I've been busting my head lately with more creative ways of selling affiliate products. Since I'm relatively new to this, all sort sort of things pop in my head but I'm trying to be rational: I know that certainly somebody was thinking about same things before me. I'm no genius.

So, what do you think about this METHOD:

1. Pick a tangible item from tangible network (health or something)
2. List that item on Ebay
3. When somebody buys - you can:
a) buy that item through your own affiliate link and put in shipping address of your Ebay customer
or b) if that's not allowed, tell your mom to buy through your link and ----------- II --------------------

Sort of drop shipping...

I would like to know if that's possible and if not - why not?

Because, if if can be done, this is great method with huge benefits - you can offer discounted prices and undercut competitors, you can offer free samples (many of aff products have that), you can sell hot products....

Your thoughts?

Yes, this method is something a few people do. But the problem is scaling since you're relying solely on ebay. If you can market it to other sites, then this could be a profitable method for you.

That would be considered fraudulent.
The networks give out free samples and charge for shipping
with a rebill if the order is not cancelled in order to gain new customers.
As none of your orders would convert into paying customers the networks will soon find you out,
ban you and with hold payment.

Jep, I agree. So, free samples ruled out then.

But what about the rest?

I tried to get an answer form one network if I can buy through my aff link but didn't get it.
I know Amazon forbids it. Clickbank is ok with it as far as I know (this could work with digital products on Ebay classifieds - people do that through reports).

My twist is to be able to offer discount since you get aff commission.
+ marketing your offers on Ebay (which is huge). No website pains, no traffic generation pains and all that classic affiliate marketing stuff.
