On Saturday morning, I woke up and found out that my bike was stolen. I knew that it was someone from our neighborhood since they are the only ones that knew about my bike. So I decided to come up with a plan to get my money back for my bike plus more.
What's the Plan?
Using tactics called, "Offline Marketing", we're going to be using them as pawns to generate leads for us.
This method can be used in so many different ways so be sure to try and think of a twist.
The plan is to put up flyers or papers (your choice) on doors of your neighbors house or street poles. These flyers will have a short message telling them that they can make money from their home.
For example, a flyer can say,

We are going to take advantage of a program called, "Hostgator" because they offer good hosting for cheap prices.
Hostgator allows you to refer clients or people to their website to purchase hosting and give you commission for doing so.
However, here's the fun part. You can get $50+ per purchase even if your customer or client purchased a penny hosting package. So lets place this in reality and show you how it goes.
Reality Game Plan
First, we will signup for their affiliate program. Once you are in, you can continue. This step will take the longest because it does take them quite a time to approve you (1-3 days) but once you're in, you can start banking.
Second of all, we will get our affiliate link and send it to your neighbor through the email. You will tell them to signup to Hostgator using that link and use the penny coupon to get a month of hosting for a penny. Tell them that they can take advantage of this offer to see if they really want to make money online.
Also be sure to tell them that once they sign up (make sure to tell them to buy a domain as it is needed in registration), you will guide them into making their website and get them started.
Once your done sending this email asking them to register and get a domain to everyone that emailed you, you will start seeing the commissions start piling up on your dashboard.
Now, in order to keep your profit, you need to make sure that they connect the name servers and install WordPress on their domain and hosting plan.
Once WordPress is installed, you can ditch them there or you can actually help them out and install a few plugins and a theme that looks decent.
Don't waste your time too much, just spend just enough time to get them started.
If you don't want neighbors finding you after you ditched them, use this method in a different neighbor hood.
How to Scale this Method
The first few customers, you should spend some time going things over with them so that you get the hang of how this works.
But scaling is the most important factor of every company or business so I have thought of a way to scale this method very well.
First, set up an auto responder so that once someone emails you, it shoots them an email right back telling them to buy the hosting and a domain. This will greatly speed up the process and if they are techie, you can generate money right away. However, some people don't know how to connect name servers so you should watch out for those neighbors.
Secondly, hire some students or kids in your neighborhood to put up flyers all around the neighborhood and other neighborhoods as well. Kids these days will do so much for little money so pay them around $5 for 100 flyers they put up or so.
Also note,
Hostgator's commission varies depending on how many signups you have per day.
If you follow the game plan very carefully and scale very well, you can easily make more than $10,000 a month. This is because every 1-5 people you refer, you get $50 and every 21+ you refer, you get $120 per signup.
