Well it depends on niche you're targeting. I have always looked at videos that were uploaded in last 24 hours and only from users that had personal youtube accounts - 1-5 videos total, all homemade about their families. I guess the problem is that some of them don't even know what CC is. But on the other hand, they change it from Standard Youtube license to CC so it's confusing...

And there was a particular case when some user uploaded his video on liveleak, but another user on youtube with some videos of his family decided to reupload that video on his channel with CC enabled. Needles to say, I got a copyright strike from the user on liveleak... Still have no idea how to solve it. The most obvious would be contacting the owner and offering him/her a percentage back for his/her video. But the problem is that you can't be sure if that video is actually his/hers, since that video can easily be stolen from another video site.

Surely YT can't give you a strike you if they had it on CC at the time you uploaded it? People would have to re-check the original every day!

Yeah as for Liveleak, you can either only make sure it's a YT original (you can usually tell if it's an original by the uploader). Also maybe Liveleak has a CC area too, any way to find out?
 
I didn't understand the promoting part can someone explain me how to do it?

I thought that aswell but got copyright strike and that was all :D . The interesting part was that that particular video was up for a couple more days before being removed.

The uploader was using his full name as channel name and that video fitted his homemade videos nicely. It's always a gamble as it seems :) .
I have searched for CC on liveleak but either I'm blind (highly possible :D ) or they don't have it. Maybe someone else can help :)
 
Uploaded some 50 videos in a week on a a year old YT account. No promotion other than FB and some bookmarking.

So, this appears to be working now. Just need to scale it till 500 videos per channel.

Oh yes, I use unlisted method till 100 likes from addmefast and then make it public immediately. Removed each and every video which says third party content matched to avoid any future conflict. Generally changed video format to wmv to change video size. Some slideshows here and there to make content unique somewhat. All videos 30 seconds to 90 seconds.

Oh, I forgot to add something. I'm from India and we generally have shitty CPC, anything between 2 to 7 cents. So, i started adding random cities name from US, Russia and UK and cpc now is around 10-15 cents and highest being 44 cents.
I bookmark with Russian bookmarking sites using translator to bring some traffic from those countries.
I add lot of wow, uff, sh*t, OMG, Believe to give them a chance to be seen.
Touching 4000 views in first week was satisfactory.

5500 views and 63 clicks with avg RPM 0.64. So, it sums upto 2 dollar or something. It's not like harvesting the crop once, more videos and few of them touching 1-5 spot on their keywords will skyrocket revenues. I think main motto is to get 100-200 videos per channel. It's going to take roughly 25 days to sum up with one channel. Then occasionally adding 1-2 videos will be fine.
 
I uploaded two videos, one of them got monitized directly wthout any hassle. But for the other video they are asking for proof that I own copyrights... What should I tell them? I would appreciate any help I could get, thanks.

I have a technique it needs 1/2 hour for first time than videos get accepted all time. As soon as your first 40 videos get accepted then you wont have any problem for all coming one. Don't monetize as soon as you upload. Wait for at least 48 hours. Use location setting wisely for audience and dollars you are targeting.
I'm all f*cked up as didn't used those in videos at starting and still getting shitty RPM .60 $ cpc is now around 5-10 cents from 2 cents.
Use addmefast it works.
 
im using an old account and my new vids are going to review upon monetizing. anyone else?

edit: i read the above posts..... does the 1/2 hour thing work for new accounts too?
all of my old accounts already have channel url's set and i want a custom channel url to fit my username. if its a must to use an old account, i'll just accept my losses in the username and move on. thanks for any response guys.

I'm not sure about new accounts, but pm me and i will give the method. Try it as it works for all my videos.
