Don't worry, I know that loser government too well. If it was USA or other first world country I would have been more careful.

Yes. But mainly valid for USA traffic. Since the videos get traffic from all over the world, average CPC is way lower.
 
Thats really cool man. Ill definitely try it if I ever get into adsense haha.
 
How do you guys find the niche you want to use for this project?

Bank never stops you from withdrawing unless your funds have been frozen/seized by the government/court. That's the end of this topic here. :)

I don't know if this is exactly what I'm experiencing but maybe you could shed some light as YouTube isn't my normal means of marketing.

Right now I have an old account form 2008 that had a few of my own personal videos on it.

I linked that account to my old adsense account which I've been paid from a couple of times.

I selected only the videos that were 100% mine in my video manager and enabled monetization on them but it's been nearly 30hrs and next the my videos via the "Video Manager" I still see the green money box and when I hover over it, it displays "Under review".

I assume that means that ads will NOT be displayed currently with my videos? I already have some videos that I want to upload and start promoting but I don't think it's the right time? I sounds like once I get my first couple video "Monetized" and not "Under review" I shouldn't have a problem with future uploads correct?

Anyone who wants to chime in it would be much appreciated.

Going to sound weird but turn off monetization and turn it back on again, it will go under review still but should be running by the next day.

Thanks for the reply. Before commenting on here I did some research and someone recommend that so right now I have 3 videos under review and so I did what you said about 30 minutes ago, no change yet but will be checking it tomorrow night. One of the remaining two videos I'm trying a recommendation I found and for the 3rd video I'm just leaving it for my controlled video. Hopefully among the three I get figure out how to speed this up.

I have my videos ready to go (not uploaded yet) and adsense in place and money to spend on advertising, just need YT to allow me to monetize my stuff.

If there are other recommendations for getting videos past the "under review" part please share because I have to idea if what I'm trying will work.
 
I have the same problem on my 7 years old account. The first video went without any problems. I was able to get it monetized and promoted. The next day I uploaded another one just to get it monetized but it's stuck under review. I tried another one and same deal.. seems something is not right as my first video got monetized almost instantly.

Don`t worry, at the current state it seems that Youtube is changing things to worse and "Under review" status is appearing for all videos no matter how original or copied and it also requires a bit of dedication and imagination + money and most people lack some of this stuff. Let`s face it, it`s not as easy as it seems. Some people might struck gold without even knowing why and what they did to get those results and might not be able to ever replicate what they did and some people with knowledge in the SEO field and IM will fail for no reason. Everything is like a gamble when you`re playing by some rules that G seems to follow but it`s not letting anyone know those rules.
 
Videos on my 6+ years old channel got monetized after about 6 hours.
 
QUESTION: How important is it that people like our videos? E.G. if our video gets views but no shares/subscribes, how effective will this method be in the end?
