This may be a silly question but will regular YT accounts do? Or do they need to be PVA?

It's not necessary, but it makes the accounts more stable - so they last longer before you have to switch the main comment account or take a break. The majority of mine aren't PVA and we manage to cycle through pretty slick. Have to be very alert though. So PVA is better if you can buy a batch.
