Have you tried adsense alternatives to earn some alternatives are better than adsense in terms of rate and policy. What is your niche?

What alternatives you suggest? Blog is about recipes.

All it is is driving traffic with social media. It has worked for years and will continue to work for many more. =)

This is where site design and content actually matter.
The issue here and especially women are:
1) Are your images "dazzling" enough to trap their squirrel like attention spans
2) Is your site attractive enough to reduce bounce rate
3) Does the traffic even have buyers intent? Or is it broke single moms strung out on Oxycontin and looking at pictures of food all day
I'm thinking of giving this a whirl, although I'm more interested in CPA and the problem seems to be
a) getting high resolution images that won't get you complaints or aren't already shared 8000 times
b) you pretty much have to build a real quality site
c) who knows the buyers intent behind these people as their not targeting a query to get to your site
All of these together and this is more or less building an entire niche site + pinterest strategy. Its a lot more work than most people inferred from OP.

Any risk of being banned from adsense because of duplicated content
If I am not wrong pinterest doesn't allow having a site with copied recipes from other sites.. some people have been banned because of that so I think you got to be lucky to succeed in this method not to mention that it takes a long time to get decent traffic to your site.

I want to use pinterest to drive traffic on my blog and to promote a product. And I want to ask you if it is good to promote forex niche on pinterest. Forex niche is a niche for men and pinterest is a site for women, can I promote forex on pinterest? Thanks!

Yes it totally does.
It's 99% women though so you have to tailor everything to a female audience.
In a world where women tend to govern household budgets this kinda advertising is actually really good!

You really have to be careful with the content you use for this method. I tried something similar and within an hour the people whose content I re-posted on the website contacted me asking me to take it down. I linked to the original source and made it clear on the site that it wasn't original content but curated content but they still weren't satisfied so I removed it. Just something to keep in mind.
Here is a twist on this Pinterest method: I'm using PPD (pay per download) with recipe ebooks. I use Pinterest recipe boards to drive traffic to my recipe website. Once I have the visitor on my site, and they read through the recipe that got their attention, I place a call-to-action at the end of the recipe. It says "For More Great Recipes Like This Get My Recipe Book - Just Complete An Offer From My Sponsor to Get This Awesome Recipe Book with Over 500 Recipes!" This method is working and I have over 25 recipe ebooks with resell rights that I'm using depending on the types of recipes (meats, desserts, crock pot meals, etc). I make about $1.00 USD every time a visitor unlocks the download gateway to get the recipe book. I'm easily making $25 a day and I've only been doing this since November 2014.
