Ok, this is a highly BLACKHAT trick, so you should really have balls, or really need money in order to apply it, but nevertheless here it is.
you know Metacafe has this producer award program, where it pays you 5$ per thousands view for every original video you submit to them.
You can trick this either by artificially inflating the views of your video, which we are not going to discuss now, either by submitting a highly potential viral video which is not yours but is very probable that they are not going to realize this.
For instace, i go to youtube, and i browse the most popular videos, this week, or this month, etc... videos that i know will be appealing to public, and they will have great success. Afterwards among this, i look for videos that DO NOT have any trace of trademark on them, and it is very improbable to claim any copyrights on them, like videos with pets, or somewhere the image is very unclear , the movie is short, etc. I download them and reupload at metacafe, and claiming them as my own. Since they have already proven to be viral, there are great chances that they are going to be viral at metacafe as well.
To be more explicit here are two examples of videos from youtube that were viral this month and can be easily assumed as your own
youtube.com/watch?v=NMFL67wgfQY
You see the image is not clear, there is no face there, it is very hard to claim copyright on such a video. You can make a duplicate of this video, or just take this one and use as your own.
Another example:
youtube.com/watch?v=SEEgSS5paxI
Homemade pets video, highly improbable for someone to claim copyright on it.
You got the idea.
