Meta TITLE and Meta Descriptions - what do you think?

Hi guyzzz,

I am creating a new blog. I will add let's say 10 articles. All of them will have 3 main keywords (not so hard honestly) and about 5 long tail/additional keywords. 500-1500 words per article.


here's the quesiton
do you prefer letting google find what searcher looks for, or you prefer to insert main + long tails keywords in description?

I prefer for both, because long tails might rank quicker, if so it might help main keywords too.

I make my description as natural as possible, without stuffing keywords.

Title and description have to sound natural. I’d usually include my targeted keyword in the title and LSI keywords in my description.

Make SEO title and description by yourself that would be much better for your website SEO.

I ignore descriptions to be honest.

They are so dynamic these days that there is a slim chance searcher will see what you set.

Google automatically generates meta description, so adding them manually wouldn't help you.

Make sure you reverse engineer paid adwords ads to maximize the CTR of your metadescriptions
Don't just stuff your kw targets into your descriptions - instead, work on getting people to click

How is it working out for you? Does it affect the SERPs? I am working on setting a new website and I have skipped putting the meta desc. till now. Idk if I should leave it like that or not.

we can't assure that Google will take the description of exactly what we are giving. But giving a proper description will give you a chance of small explanation to the searchers to click on your page.

You can do both of the practices and see the results and donot stuff the kw's and write for the people not for Google.

I prefer to insert the main keywords in the title, description, & header tags. If you are looking for insert long-tail keywords, you must insert them on H3 tags and content.

Create meta description with proper keywords. Don't do keyword stuffing.

depends on your article that you have prepared, if they are well prepared according to your keywords and audience then their is no need to do extra stuffs like using keywords in the Meta description and title.
