Hi, can you guys give me some tips on how to set up Meta for a mobile app? We will spam ads on the app. I'm still new to this, if you have any advice, please share. Thank you

Hey,
Best way to start is by setting up Meta Events Manager and adding the Facebook SDK to your app this helps track installs and in-app actions. For the campaign, go with App Installs as the objective and test different creatives and audiences. If you're planning to scale fast, make sure to warm up your ad accounts slowly and keep your creatives fresh to avoid getting flagged. Focus on data and adjust based on performance it’s a lot of testing in the beginning.

Yeah bro, for apps the setup’s a bit different but once you get it right, it can run hard. First, make sure your app is registered with Meta for Developers and linked to your Business Manager. You’ll need to integrate the Meta SDK into your app (either iOS or Android), and set up App Events like installs, purchases, etc.

Then connect everything in Events Manager so you can optimize for installs or in-app actions. Most people use App Install or Conversion campaigns. Just don’t launch cold — warm up the BM, ease into the spend, and make sure your ad copy doesn't trigger policy flags. If you need more info, just ask — happy to help.

Thank you, can you show how you guys setup with Conversion Campaign?

Yes but sometimes CPI is too high for us, do you have any recommend?

We already setup campaign for App Install but hard to have good IAA results. Also hard to scale because the results are bad. Would like to have more options of yours to test

Yeah bro, makes sense — App Install campaigns are easy to set up but tough to scale with good IAA (in-app action) results if the flow or traffic quality isn’t dialed in. First thing I’d test is switching over to Value Optimization or App Event optimization (like purchase or registration) once you’ve got enough events fired — Meta starts pushing better traffic that way.

Also try running some broad audience + Advantage+ placements and focus more on creative angles that mimic organic content. Static banners don’t cut it anymore — short videos or UGC-style ads usually pull better.

And if you're using regular ad accounts, that might be limiting delivery too. Agency-level accounts with solid trust tend to optimize and scale better, especially when you're pushing apps. I can share a few setup ideas if you're testing different GEOs or want to run more aggressive. Let me know what you’re working with — happy to go deeper.

Yeah, CPI can get pretty high depending on the geo and targeting. What’s helped me a bit is narrowing down the audience and testing different placements sometimes manual placements work better than automatic. Also, creative refresh every few days seems to help keep the cost stable. Have you tried optimizing for in-app events instead of just installs? That can sometimes bring down the overall cost per quality user.

Thank you for posting this thread. I am also searching for the solution of this problem.

What do you mean by spam ads?

You want to show ads in the mobile app?

or

You want to make Meta Ads for the mobile app?

If you want to show ads inside the app, the best thing you can do is set up mediation and add multiple ad networks like Google Admob, Applovin, Unity and Meta ads, so you always have a high show rate of the ads and you minimize the risk of getting banned from one network.

I’ve heard optimizing for in-app events can really help, which events do you usually pick for that? Purchase, registration, or something else?

W
e make money by spamming ads in mobile apps, so I need to bring in new users every day.

I’ve already launched campaigns on multiple networks, but now I want to focus on Meta. I’m really curious how people are getting good ROAS there — ours usually stays under 100% ROAS, which isn’t great.

If you spam ads, you can easily get fined and banned, so be careful before doing it.
We’ve developed some apps with minimal features, mainly designed to get users to click on ads. We earn profits from AdMob through this.

You need to set up solid tracking architectures, integrate meta SDKs, and use mobile measurement partners most importantly to ensure data is always clean.

Yeah if you're gonna spam, def don’t use your main BM, go with rented or aged ones, install SDK early, and fake some legit installs to warm it up.
Also rotate creatives fast, Meta catches patterns quick now.

Create App in Meta for Developers

Go to: https://developers.facebook.com/apps

Click "Create App"

Select "Consumer" type

Name the app → enter admin email

Click "Create App ID"

For setting up Meta for a mobile app, first, you need to create a business account on Facebook. Then, you can access Meta through the Facebook Business Manager. Once you connect your app to Meta, you can start running ads on it. Make sure to follow Meta's guidelines for advertising to avoid any issues. Good luck with your app!

Create a clean Business Manager, add App Events using the Meta SDK properly.
Prepare a landing page, clear ad creative, limit content that violates policies.
Use a warmed up ad account, test low budgets first to avoid early bans.
