I just noticed when adding one of my sites to a site that my keywords are stuff like : Wordpress, premium Wordpress themes, etc etc.

But in platinum SEO i have my proper keyword there.

The ones that I don't want as my keywords are first in the HTML code of my site, is this bad for SEO?

I don't know how to get rid of it really either.

I would remove them and put the one's you want to rank for.

Don't even use meta keywords, it has zero value.

As such keyword proximity is less important... Keyword placement matters more. So, if you have your keywords (for which you want to rank) titles, title tags, description then you will rank for them (in such case it doesn?t matter which keyword is on the first place in the content body)
