Hi guys! so basically i'am just trying to do some description and keyword adjustment for one of my website but i am confused with a few things.

1) i have 5-6 pages - should i add same keywords and meta description for all pages ?
2) how many keywords should i add and is there any limit ?

any suggestions will be appreciated. :)

Yes, because we rank websites with the help of keywords and high profile backlinks. When we think to rank our website on the first page of google the best way is to use keywords in the title and meta description.

1) no way! You add keywords and description that are relevant to each page individually. And if the 5-6 pages that you've created all target the same keywords then you've made a mistake. Each page should address a single topic, and if you do this, adding meta descriptions + keywords that are relevant to that specific page (topic) makes a lot of sense

2) I usually add 2-3 long tails that are very relevant to the content. But that's because I usually target long tails on all of my websites, I rarely go for 2-words keywords, or keywords with a lot of search volume in general. But, if you are feeling comfortable targeting such competitive keywords, go for it!

Thanks for your input, the other pages are guide/help pages for the main homepage, so i think it's better to not add any keywords and description for those page?

I don't know what to say, honestly. It's up to you to decide if you care for metas or not. Personally, I don't think that google values these things as much as they used to

Don't obsess over Meta
Add few relevant long tails as H3 tags throughout the page

Don't add same keywords and description to all pages. The keywords and description you use on any page must be centered around what the page is all about. If all the pages talk about the same thing then you have yourself duplicate content, which you have to remove some and redirect them all to one.

I don't quite understand your second question. If it's the lenght of the description 150 characters is the recommended, I can't remember exactly but that's long enough and won't hurt.

No, You can not add same keywords and meta description in your different pages you have to write unique meta description in your all pages, also I want to tell a single page target only a single keywords and you can use that keyword different variations.
