im really struggling with the Tracking Part. I want to run blackhat ad on meta and affiliate offers. But im struggling with tracking part. How can i setup the CAPI and how to choose the event. Like if there is ecomerce store then purchase event but if there is gambling site then which conversion to user ? Complete registration ? and how to tracking how much money user depositited. I really confused with this tracking part .CAn anyone help please. With the learning source please

For gambling offers, most people use Complete registration or first deposit as the main event. I'd start simple with pixel + Capi basics first before trying advanced deposit tracking.

I'd focus on understanding the conversion points that the affiliate program actually reports back.
Some programs only share registrations, while others provide additional event data.
The available tracking usually determines what you can optimize for.

Registration -> complete registration event
Ftd -> Purchase event

But you need to setup a tracker for this to connect your fb pixel with your offer postback event. Almost all casino affiliate offers provides postback features

I think you should begins with the basic Meta events first and for ecommerce use purchase and for lead offers use CompleteRegistration as the event should match the action you want to track.

Buddy, For affiliate offers, I’d track Registration first, then FTD/Deposit if the network supports postbacks. Pass the actual deposit/revenue value via CAPI so you can optimize for real conversions, not just registrations.

For ecommerce purchase is the main event for lead gen use complete registration or lead for gambling it depends on the platform rules and local laws but usually registration and first deposit are tracked separately and deposit value should be passed back through CAPI from the server side if the offer is compliant

The purchase works for ecommerce and for affiliate offers use registration or deposit based on the offer and meta CAPI docs are a good starting point.

For ecommerce use purchase and for gambling, complete registration for signups and track deposits separately if possible because Meta’s CAPI docs are a good place to start.

In creating a campaign in affiliate marketing one should start by monitoring his lead nd then FTD/Deposits by postback where applicable. make sure to configure your pixel/CAPI appropriately in order to creat a campaign that is worth the real effort.

I’d keep it simple: track the main conversion event first, then pass the actual value through CAPI. For ecom it’s usually Purchase, while registration funnels can use CompleteRegistration. Event deduplication is also important.

Yes, CAPI makes more sense once your main events are set up properly then start with the key conversion first then add value tracking for things like deposits or purchases.
