Meta Ads CPM suddenly doubled anyone else?

I think it is happening to a lot of advertisers. I usually check audience size, placements, and creative performance before changing the whole campaign.

From my experience, CPM fluctuations are normal, but a sudden jump usually means competition or audience saturation has changed. When that happens, I test fresh creatives and new audience segments instead of immediately increasing budget. Small adjustments often work better than a complete reset.

I faced something similar. Before changing the whole campaign, I checked creatives and placements because sometimes small changes there affect CPM a lot.

Meta CPM is never stable. I would check CTR, frequency and conversion rate first before changing everything.

Same thing happened with some of my campaigns. Testing new audiences and fresh creatives helped bring costs down a bit.

Meta ads got much more expensive recently, so refreshing your images, videos is the best way to lower costs.

Same here. CPMs tend to be high whenver there is more competition or changes in delivery by Meta, so I would first look at the audience overlap and update the creatives.

Yeah, Meta CPMs are super high for everyone right now just drop new video hooks every week and go broad with your targeting.

You are not alone. Higher CPMs have been my experience as well, although in my situation changing creatives has been more effective than changing targeting. Meta has been feeling less stable for me recently.

It can happen without changing the campaign settings. Audience size, season, and advertiser competition can affect CPM a lot.
