META Ads Account Restriction Question and Experience

#1 So, how many of you have gotten 3 or more accounts on META ads and successfully created another account to run Meta ADS?
- I realized my last 2 Facebook accounts that over the past 7 years that i MAY have used a different visa card using the same name

#2 So basically make a 4th Facebook account and use a different VISA card but using the same name is okay?
- I am just afraid of like an IP ban.

#3 I'm sure I should use different COPY + ADV so meta avoids detecting my old ads under this new account?

People do run multiple ad accounts, but most long-term successes are through Business manager structures, not stacking personal facebook profiles. Multiple personals is where things usually go sideways.

Same name on a different card isn’t the main issue. Meta looks more at behavioral + asset overlap (profiles, businesses, pixels, domains). IP bans are rare, it’s usually account level or BM level restrictions instead.

Reusing the same creatives, angles, or landing flow is what triggers pattern matching. New accounts should be treated as clean businesses, not clones, different positioning, structure, and funnel logic.

If you’re doing this for scale (not recovery), the real question is,
Are you building this inside a proper BM setup, or trying to spin up fresh personal accounts?

Use antidetect browser like gologin and fresh proxy, name on card is fine but never reuse the same card number or ads.

If you are serious with advertising you need legit agency ad accounts and not worry about it anymore

If previous accounts were restricted, creating more accounts with small changes (card, copy, etc.) usually doesn’t solve the root issue. Meta tracks behavior patterns, not just payment details.
Using the same name across multiple profiles can also raise trust issues. Instead of stacking new accounts, it’s safer to fix what caused the bans and work under one clean, compliant structure (verified BM, clear payment history, compliant ads).
Trying to “reset” over and over often leads to stronger restrictions.

Success usually depends on whether each account looks like a separate, consistent user to Meta. Use an anti-detect browser to run each ad account in its own browser profile, and assign a different stable proxy to each profile. Keep the fingerprint, IP, and login environment consistent over time. That separation matters far more than changing cards or small account details.

A lot of people end up with multiple accounts over time, but you should be careful here because Meta is pretty strict about account integrity.


1. Yes, it’s possible for people to run ads from multiple ad accounts over the years, especially if they’re under different Business Managers. But creating new personal accounts just to run ads usually goes against Meta’s policies.


2. Using the same name with a different card doesn’t necessarily trigger anything by itself. What Meta mainly looks at is overall behavior patterns (account history, activity, devices, etc.). The bigger risk is creating extra personal profiles.


3. Different creatives (copy + ads) is normal when testing campaigns anyway, but it’s not really about “avoiding detection.” It’s more about performance testing and targeting.


If you’re scaling ads long-term, it’s generally safer to structure things properly through Business Manager and multiple ad accounts rather than creating new personal profiles.
