Both are great players - and its not that you can't like them both.
Ronaldo is a great player, and a superb human being off the field as well.
And Messi? He's better than most out there. These statistics don't lie.

Ronaldo is better.

CR7 is an all round better player, and can influence games in lots of ways, no matter what the conditions.

Messi influences the game in certain situations, and has also dropped off in the last 2 seasons.

Dont get me wrong, i do like Messi. When you see him in full flow and running at defenders hes amazing. This is only my personal opinion but i honestly think he is pissed off Barca brung in Neymar. His form dropped around the same time. Wouldnt be surprised if he leaves at some point

Messi is demigod, Ronaldo is a perfect machine. Depends actually on your taste for football. Personally I prefer Messi, because he is much more a team player and football is a team sport.

I like Ronaldo more. His goals are more skillful and different and his form has been better than Messis the past 2 years.
