Messenger Scam! Beware!

So I have received an IM on AIM from someone while I was away. This is exactly how it reads:

[07:44] deaflottohelp08: My name is Laurie am the manager of deaf and hard of hearingcommission(DHHC).DHHC is a charity organisation that help deaf andhard of hearing.DHHC is in collaboration with AOL company by selecting all the email addresses of people that are active online,among the millions that subscribed to AOL and AIM we only select TEN people every Month as our winners through electronic balloting System without the winner applying,and your sn has won you the sum of $100,000. we congratulate you for being one of the people selected get back to me if you are ready to claim your money

I'm guessing that "Nigerian Scam" has moved to messengers now eh.

Just giving you guys the heads up since I haven't seen anyone talking about this here yet.

Those Nigerian's try very hard to cheat everybody. The problem is the Nigerian government will not help any other country prosecute the scammers.

If they just put their effort on legit marketing =/ ... idiots. My m8 said he had once chat with some nigerian scammer and the guy said he makes about 200$ week with scams lol ;P can be pretty good money there who knows

lol ya, my parents have a condo and we get nigerian people all the time saying they want to rent.
You should have said to Laurie
"I don't want the money, just give it to the DHHC"

So is there any way to press charges agains these folks.
she has been sending me notes wanting me to send $585 to some
chick in Illinois . No way!
I keep dragging here along ha ha......
whats the next move?
