Im sure this is pretty common but here goes.

I have used messages.yahoo.com to build a few backlinks that google recognizes (I did this months ago and have not checked backlinks on this site until today)... Simple really just find the topic go to that board and reply with your link in your post.

Im sure a lot of people know this but if it just helps 1 person than great!

You can get links from Yahoo Answers as well. even though they are nofollow, many times a question will get ranked pretty high in google. If you've got an answer with a link in it, you can get some decent traffic. especially if yours is chosen as the best answer.

Is simply common sense. If a site only have ******** backlinks, could get bad attention from google. A healthy mix of nofollow and ******** is what I think any link building campaign should pursue.
