Messages attachment spam!

So i just got this message from friend, obviously he didn't know what he clicked or who knows what. But what is strange to me is following java attachment.

I did spam hell out of fb with apps before and all sort of viral content and methods, including the days when there was apps just for chat. But i didn't see this before. I downloaded that java file and extracted it, and there are some .data files from that user dropbox. Would be interested to know a bit more about this, so if any one know this sort of app and would like to share some informations would be cool.

its not an app
its a full on worm/virus
so unless you want to go down that path infecting computers its not worht looking further into

So your saying that actually, my friend needed to download/open some .exe file and it spread around that way?

Dude its virus/malware ofc. else none would attach a zip instead of .jpg, .jpeg or even .gif

But it's attached on facebook not any external links. if you know what i mean.

yes its possible to attach files such as .zip directly to facebook servers
