I've been here since mid 2009, and in that time I've been yellow, pink, blue, white, red, and now green - I've seen countless people come and go, but there's a strong core of membership here that keep this place an active community and a go-to site for inspiration and conversation. I've taken incredible amounts of knowledge from this board, more then I could ever strive to put back in, and forged some fantastic friendships with like minded individuals that I know will continue on for years to come.

My fellow blackhatters,

It was roughly two years ago that I became a part of Blackhatworld, and three years ago that I had joined the world of internet marketing, I was stupid, young, niave, slightly dishonest and entirely gullable, I thought like many there was a secret path to riches, and exploititive nature to the internet.

For years before I had gotten into internet marketing I had a been a freelance writer adn web designer and I was glad to get away for it but I threw away most of my stability and savings investing into content rings that lasted me for a while but ended up throwing me under the bus. I think my real shock was a few months back, I just woke up and decided I wasn't really where I wanted to be.

I made ammends to those who I had wroned in the past, I started being a member who gave back to the community that had given me so much, I got out of my sketchy and exploitative properties and I stopped trying to make money off of those who didn't know better.

To stablize my income in such a time I got a job as a junior web developer at an IT company, and eventually convinced the owner to open an Internet Marketing division which I lead handling marketing accounts for our various IT and Web Dev clients. (I also started to continue my education)

I recently have branched out and began my own firm, so far it consits of only me and a few clients here and there, but its growing every day, and thanks to the valuble advice and support from members of this community (especially 7878 and meathead1234) I have been able to see amazing growth and stability in my last quarter of this year.

I guess what I am trying to say is that this last year I really grew as a person, it allowed me to start doing good business rather than just anything to make a dime, I made amends and changed my life around. Mostly in part due to the amazing guidance, advice and influence of members here.

I've always been told I'm a birght guy, but in the past I was the brightest fool I ever met. This year has been one of the best of my life due to this community and I thank you all from the very bottom of my heart.

I wish you a very merry christmas and a happy new year, I am sure the future is bright for all of us.
