Merging related niches into one site

Hi white hatters!

I’ve got a few websites that do well, all extreme sports. Four different niches with over 100 articles each and lots of traffic but it’s hard to keep track. No blackhat stuff, just proper kw research.

I wish to merge them so I got my summer and winter sports in one place and get the most out of it l. I’m really scared of putting them all in one place because if it fails, all my hard work will be in vain.

I heard that either it works or you fail, roll of the dice. What’s your experience on this subject?

Unfortunately, I don’t have experience merging sites like this, but still, I see no reason why it would fail. But do you mind telling me how you would go about merging them? Would all of the articles you’ve put up remain where they are? Or would you choose one of the existing sites and upload all of the content you have on the others to that domain? I’m curious how you’d go about it. Hopefully, this will also boost the thread so other people will chip in.
