Merchant Accounts Creating a Footprint?

Anyone know if linking merchant accounts create a footprint. Looking to create a few ecomm sites and I don't want to register a new llc for each one. Couldn't find any info.

Why do an LLC when you could just do a DBA? It's much easier and cheaper.

Yeah, a DBA would be easier - but say you have 5 ecomm sites all under 1 llc. And you link 4 of them at 1 of them.

Money Site 1 dba money site 2

Google doesn't trace a footprint?

I'm not sure if BHW the right spot to post this.

I wouldnt worry so much bout linking for merchant accounts, who are you worried about linking you?

For SEO purposes merchant accounts would not matter (unless you're using Google Checkout there's probably no way for Google to even figure out you were using the same account).
