Merch by Amazon promotion

Hi all,

First of all, this is my first post here so apologies if it's in the wrong place!

So anyway, a couple days ago I have finally been approved on Merch by Amazon (applied in August!) and started designing my shirts. Only have 4 designs up so far but in a good niche and I'm using merch informer to help me too. So apart from a minor setback (my hard drive failed with all my original design .psds ...) all is on the right track.

My question do you peeps is - do you know of a good way to promote specific amazon tshirt links? So far I've started a pinterest account and slowly trying to gain followers but that's quite slow. I'm wondering if there are any good sure-fire ways to start gaining traffic and sales?

I've read around the forum quite a bit and saved lots of great posts but haven't found anything that's more Amazon related - all help would be much appreciated!

Good thing you got into the Amazon merch! You might want to check out a cloud service for your psd files (dropbox, onedrive, google drive, ...)

Instagram, facebook and pinterest would be great for promoting.

Thanks - any surefire ways I could pay to promote a specific tshirt?

Make use of all social media platforms, it may be slow to begin with but with time things will start t work. Another option is to approach people on social media with huge subscriber and follower base that match the demography you may be targeting and try sorting a deal out with them through sponsorships etc.

Instagram influencers might work well.

With MBA you should count on organic Amazon search traffic and not focus so much on promoting with Social Media.
In the past year MBA has had some serious issues for sellers and is still working out a lot of their bugs.
I wasted a lot of time promoting on Pinterest, Fb, and Instagram then Amazon started removing a lot of designs, running out of colors and sizes, and locking accounts.
Not to mention MBA doesn't do international shipping yet so you'll have to be sure to only target users from your country of origin.

My recommendation would be researching the most effective tags to take advantage of all the search traffic Amazon gets.
If you want to promote your designs on Social Media you should have the same designs up on RedBubble or Spreadshirt because MBA shirts are really low quality as is the MBA support.

With Merch by Amazon you just gotta be patient and work the system to your favour by using Merch informer and filling up your daily uploads.
