Didn't know in which forum post this so I hope I got this right.

I wanted to know if someone has had luck putting their link to their products in unrelated websites hoping to land at least a sale. I haven't had much luck selling with my designs so I'm thinking of buying a review or something like that, but before doing that I wanted to try just leaving the link to my products in my webs.

- So, It is safe to do so or is allowed? I know I can see amazon policy, but I want to know someone experience.
- Would it be better to just buy a review or a facebook share?

Thanks in advance.

Link dropping on random sites can do more harm than good, looking spammy and potentially hurting your SEO.

Interested to hear from people that have first hand experience with this. I have some merch by amazon products I'd like to advertise on my site too but don't want to accidentally break any amazon merch policies and get my account suspended

When did you apply to Merch by Amazon, and is the approval process relatively easy?

Hi, in my case it's going relatevily normal. I just did the designs and no promotion because like someone said before, I didn't want to look spammy.

I applied last year, around november and ended up being accepted like in december. From people experiences I think the process now is more random than anything, one gets accepted, others no, and there's no concrete reason.

What I can say is that I had all the information that they asked ready, being the more important in my opinion the financial information to do taxes properly. I think in the US that would be the ISR or something like that.

I see, interesting i guess 2023/2024 it become harder and harder to get approved and nobody talks about Merch By Amazon that much like old days
Did you give business informations (website...) or just you introduced yourself?

If I remember well, I put a website with designs that I made as a hobby as reference. And yeah, I introduced myself as an artist trying to get into print on demand. I didn't say I was a pro or something like that.
