How about a section where those who have proven success can offer mentorship or a no bs how to guide for how to apply their method.

I.e. being a successful affiliate marketer

I realise some info on the forum but its rather veiled, and spread out, if at all.

Imagine a dispute with someone who purchases mentorship.

What a nightmare it'd be to try and resolve.

No different to the products and services people are selling really, when its digital.

People could be credible based on a review / feedback system on their post.

Really.?!...why?
Cause I can easily come along and then "mentor you" for $10 at the end of a 200 hour shift teaching you what?, lol. Still like the sound of a mentor? :) That wouldn't be fair on you, and people shouldn't have the opportunity to take advantage but they will. Thats the best thing I can think of, and plus there is no need to keep things private, just share tips and strategies in public for people to benefit and use. Mentoring is done publicly on the forum every minute, always with a new and helpful post.

I was once almost scammed by someone with $500 who was going to mentor me in adsense, but after I was fast enough to figure out they new nothing that wasn't obvious on black hat world. "Put the word car in your posts if you want to rank for cars" kind of thing. You get caught in the headlights of greed when you want someone to spell out work practices for you. But people with proven track records don't care much to give their secrets away. Everything is earned through sweat & time equity that YOU invest.

If someone has something of value, they won't want to give it away for free. People aren't on here out of the goodness of their heart.

The grindset approach is admirable, but sometimes trying to find the missing piece can be the biggest issue.

Having someone to actually discuss this with is better than shooting in a barrel.

Personally feel the option wouldn't hurt if the buyer accepts the risks.

That said, I'm the noob here, trying to learn, putting in my 2p

To be honest with you, most of those ''mentorships'' are just their way of making money, most of the time they aren't successful anyway, however that said, there are legit ones out there, but you have to be lucky to find the right person.

I once almost got scammed by a guy that claimed that he was making 20k a day with CPA marketing, I was ready to pay until I saw his name and I realized this guy comes from Nigeria and I had a bad feeling about it so I didn't do it.

My advice, just search on Youtube man there is so much information out there.

It was covered pretty well in previous comments, but I'll just add the specific rule that talks about it:
Rule 3.3:
Activity that involves Currency Trades or Exchanges (Example: Exchanging PayPal for any crypto or other monetary assets - including eGold), Buying/Selling CPA accounts, Buying/Selling Social Security Numbers or Identities, CPA offer filling circles, Paying to have CPA offers filled, Requesting fake review comments for other forums' Marketplace sections, Digg / Stumble (or similar) requests and trades, Asking how to make $xxx/day, Any "fake" account for the purposes of defrauding a network or individual, promoting other forums by any means including in your signature, promotion of coaching or training services, creating more than one account on BHW for the purposes of post count inflation or gaming the system.

In contrast to mentorship if your information/technique is valuable, you can simply make recorded videos or ebook, that most sellers do here, tangible and accountable.
I don't see any value in mentorship against pre-recorded tutorials or ebook

If they aren't trying to sell something outright, they are often doing something for free to provide an up sell in the near future.

I guess this was unclear. This is what I was meaning. Mentorship and/or training...written, video or otherwise.

Anyhow I'm pretty clear on where the forum stands and why now.

Hold your horses, I'm here out of the goodness of my heart. And I doubt some people here would be able to afford my time for me to mentor them which is why I just help out of the goodness of my heart whenever I am not busy with my business.

So you just wanna put a price on the free and the best information on this platform? For what?
