Mentoring Rules

I've always read that Mentoring is a no no, Im just curious as to why?
I tried looking it up in the rules but didn't see anything.
Why is mentoring prohibited?
I feel as though Mentoring and being mentored are amongst the most fulfilling things one can do with there existence.

I’d say because it’s open to a lot of abuse for one, and secondly, it’s very hard to arbitrate mentoring exchanges that have gone wrong (how do you judge whether the seller has fulfilled their side of the contract?).

It beautifully explains why mentoring is not allowed and how mentoring is different from selling an ebook in the marketplace.

My personal take is BHW don't want to be filled with peoples like WF. BHW and its members is at whole another level in terms of knowledge, skill and the out of the box thinking.

Our position on this is clear and from experience - as @Conor @Asif WILSON Khan and others mentioned above.

This is how it goes.
1. A member would offer a training package on BHW. Often "delivered" over many weeks.
2. Members sign up and pay expecting to be educated.
3. The training doesn't appear, is regurgitated from what they can read for free around the forum, verbatim from out of date books or just wrong.
4. We get complaints about the seller.
5. The seller is removed from BHW
Rince and repeat.

Out of interest:

Please clarify where these complaints were submitted and when. If 500+ members complained and reported their complaint through the report button it would have been noted.

Ebooks are completed and deliverable for review. "Training / mentoring packages" are limited by my points listed above.
