If I generate a tweet like:

Does this show up in everyone's timeline that subscribes to @wired?

What's the difference between an @reply and an @mention?


I'm trying to figure out how to get the occasional tweet in front of as many eyeballs as possible for my niche without having those people actually subscribed to my account necessarily.

Thanks. I thought if you @mentioned someone then their followers would see the tweet, but I guess not......

nah.. otherwise people would just @mention all the verified accounts that have millions of followers.
