Is any one here doing this niche? how hard is it to monetize?
I got more than 2k funny pictues and Im looking for a niche to start with IG, and some of you told me to go for something I like, so why not

very easy to build up hard to make a living from compared to other niches, best to get into a niche that involves products you can sell.

Agree with the above, this is very easy to build up as long as you have a direct market. A direct market such as douchey jock types, anime, fitness memes, or a general category of people you can market to, but still post the memes.

I'm in the "meme" niche. Just doing it for fun not for $$$. I do 100% original content, so this is more like a hobby
