Sometimes I load $500 as play money into my SOL wallet, going on to my Dexscreener app, loading up the trending memes under $1m and just throwing a few $100 into each one, and maybe throwing a Hail Mary into a brand new one made less than 1 hour ago.

It’s addicting but it feels like a game of hot potato’s seeing how long you can hold before it either gets rugged or gives you a moonshot

Anyone else into the degeneracy? I’ve never been a gambling man, never stepped foot in a casino, or do online gambling but man does meme coins give me a buzz just the same as any other addiction

Yep, I was into it too. Chasing fresh memes under $1M. Felt like gambling without the casino. Hit a few moonshots, but got rugged way more. Lost too much, called it quits, haven’t touched crypto since. Addicting as hell while it lasted.

It seems to be just as exciting and addictive as gambling at the casino, but never forget that the house always wins in the end. If you got the cash to spend and not expecting a return, you can see it as a form of entertainment consumption. :)

I used to YOLO stonks .... but never meme coins.

I lost it all.... thrice.

Never again. Be wise, quit while you're ahead. In the long run, the house always wins.

Also I guess it has nothing to do with actual trading, I believe It's a pure gambling

I believe the only way to make money with meme coins is to be lucky
Or to launch some coin with bold statements/big marketing budget

Not my market tho

If you like gambling, you’ll like dabbling in memecoins - because it’s practically the same thing.

I have done this before on the TON ecosystem, it was really exciting.

Haven't bought any crypto ever. I don't believe in that scam.

Yeah it’s a painful world out there
Be careful because I lost tons of money out there....it dark and deep
Same, I made $5,000 last week from $500 but didn’t sell and it ended up going down to $500 so I cashed out my money.

Checked out the coin again and realised it did a 20x immediately afterwards so I could have made $10k

100%

True best way to get rich is insider trading or creating your own rug

It really is, just packaged differently
It is my main hustle online and has been for the last 3-4yrs
Do you gamble $1m and less coins or just stick to ones with higher mc?
At this point put all your money on red. If you want to gamble, gamble like a man.
I’ll only ever gamble if I go Las Vegas just for the fun of it

Be careful with it, you can lose a nice chunk of money in an instant
Or at least use my solana bot aff link to give me 0.1% of this money before getting addicted

The reason it feels like it is addicting is because it's gamble. Gambling feels like that.

There are many users who apply their brain and past experience while trading coins. Meme coins have risks but there are ways to control that risk.

it's kinda the same, when you playing around with expectacy, it's gambling. if it's too good to be true that should be something going on behind it. lower your expectation, be present and realistic. it's good to be having a dream and imagination. but if it's cost you more than you get. leave it. it's not healthy for your mental
