    Hello,

I'd like some advice here. I wrote several methods to make money online and now I'm planning to sell them through my own website. Anyway, I'm asking if membership scripts are really better than, say, have a private forum (each member has a password) where users can just go read threads and discuss. Forums even allow attachments, so I could add PDFs and whatnot.

Anyone has experience and wants to share it?

    Thanks

In my opinion if you have a lot of customers, Forums Membership is always better if you have ability to keep it up to date.

Create a Members only section using amember in Forums & charge them..

Thats the hard part keeping it up to date.

I too am considering which option is best.
Is it worth paying out good cash for a script like amember or simply using a forum which you can make private and require membership such as that provided by simplemachines.org

I guess it depends what features you want, and how much time you want to spend on it
