I am looking to setup a private membership paid blog and I am looking for a script or plugin that allows me to set up a weekly subscription.

Chances are that will get your Paypal account closed and all your funds frozen. Paypal has pretty strict limits on incoming funds to personal accounts so you would be taking a pretty big chance by getting a lot of regular weekly payments.
